The Tipsy Tonberry is a small, independently-owned restaurant and bar in Vylbrand's Mist district. Located in Ward 17, The Tipsy Tonberry can be found in Plot 13. Its owner and proprietor, Adaru Kenni, shares the restaurant with his dear friend and former romantic partner Pututu Poto. They hope to bring cheer and warmth to all who take refuge by their hearth. Though their bar is small, Pututu and Adaru hope that it can be seen as a home to all.

The Tipsy Tonberry opened in Summer Year 8, 7AE as a pub and eatery beneath a private investigator's office in Ul'dah. As their business grew, they bought out the private investigator and expanded to fill the whole building. In the autumn of Year 8, Adaru took a trip to Thavnair and made new connections with the businesses there. Early in Year 9, 7AE, the Tipsy Tonberry shut its Ul'dah doors. Pututu's priorities shifted as she took on the role of mother to Penelope Poto, and Adaru could not maintain the business alone. Still, Adaru saved and planned for several years while Pututu took care of her own private activities. At the start of Year 12, 7AE, Pututu finally returned. By then, Adaru had rebuilt the Tipsy Tonberry in the newer district of Empyreum in Ishgard, opening up new opportunities for the enterprising lalafells. Their reopening saw great success for the pair, and they were eventually able to move out of Ishgard and, with the help of a private investor from Ul'Dah's nobility, move to Pututu's homeland of Vylbrand where they opened up again in Mist as a fully-fledged free company.
